I love it after I post something but I hate to stop painting and think about passwords, jpegs and sizes of paintings.  And how far behind I am when I look in my folder of images that have not been shown here! Too many to write about. I'm just going to post as many as I can and if you have questions let me know!

This is my latest and my goal was to show perspective, physically and mentally. I want the viewer to be looking up at the Cheetah and to feel the wind and the vastness of the African plains.

The Sketch

Before I begin most of my larger paintings I start with a painted oil sketch. That way I can make all (most) of my mistakes here and hopefully correct them. I need to try to remember to post more in the future with the finished piece.
